How we keep your data safe

Our website is scanned daily by an expert third party using advanced security scanning methods approved for the Pay Card Industry (PCI). Beyond regular inspections, we abide by the following precautions.

Secure registration

SMART+ ’s registration process uses two levels of authentication to ensure safety. Firstly, the security token is only issued to the contact information provided. Secondly, to complete their profile on the Supplier Portal, the supplier must successfully answer several questions that only they would know.

SSL encryption

Whenever one connects to the SMART+ Supplier Portal through their browser, they do so through industry-standard encryption via SSL. Therefore, all information you enter or receive is transmitted to you through a secured channel from our servers.

SSAE 21 SOC 2 Type 2

SMART+ is regularly audited for SSAE 16 SOC1 type 2 compliance. To safeguard the authentication process, SMART+ also enforces minimum password length and complexity requirements and has an adaptive lockout system to prevent password guessing.
